A. Nature of Service
Sixty40.Online is a digital platform connecting vehicle owners ("Providers") with hirers ("Renters"). Sixty40.Online acts as an intermediary and is not responsible for the mechanical condition of the vehicles.
B. Eligibility & Documentation
- Age: Renters must be at least 21 years old (or older, depending on the vehicle class).
- Licensing: Renters must possess a valid DVLA license or a recognized international driving permit.
- Verification: Users must upload a clear copy of their Ghana Card or Passport.
C. Payments and Currency
- Rates: Listed in USD and GHS. Payments made in GHS will be processed at the platform's prevailing exchange rate.
- Security Deposits: A refundable security deposit may be held to cover fuel shortages, minor damages, or late returns.
- Fuel Policy: Vehicles are provided with a full tank and must be returned with a full tank unless stated otherwise.
D. Usage Restrictions
- Geographical Limits: Vehicles may not be driven outside of Ghana without written "Cross-Border" authorization.
- Prohibited Use: No racing, off-roading, or transporting illegal goods.
- Sub-letting: Renters are prohibited from re-renting the vehicle to third parties.
E. Liability and Insurance
All vehicles must have at least Third-Party Insurance. The Renter is liable for any traffic fines, towing fees, or "Comprehensive Insurance" deductibles incurred during the rental period.
